Mon, 14 April 2008 Moriarty And Diamond Jubilee 12/7/47 Sherlock
Holmes Adventures was a fictional detective of the late 19th and early
20th centuries, who first appeared in publication in 1887. He was
devised by British author and doctor Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A
brilliant London-based detective, Holmes is famous for his prowess at
using logic and astute observation to solve cases. He is perhaps the
most famous fictional detective, and indeed one of the best known and
most universally recognizable recognizable literary characters. Now you
can relive this great series from the first episodes to the final
episode of this great radio series. ![]() Comments[1] |
In the beginning Holmes does not want to go out. Watson sees Holmes pulling apart the tassels on his dressing gown and he comments to Holmes that
he looks like he is "molting".
Other comments, you have to hear them really
Holmes is reading "Don't interrupt Watson"
Watson is also mad that his clothes don't fit.
"Tell Mrs Hudson to shake the camphor out of our evening clothes"
Watson:
"Holmes don't just stand there like a ninny"
Enormous red headed woman looks like a "animated Christmas tree"
They make fun at man and call his a "pip squeak"
John Stanley plays Sherlock. His voice sounds like Basil Rathbone.
I really enjoyed this episode.
